1. After unpacking the sandwich maker, open the lid, clean the cooking surfaces thoroughly by wiping with a damp sponge and dry the surfaces with a paper towel.
2. For best results, prepare the non-stick surfaces by using a paper towel to spread a thin layer of vegetable oil onto the non-stick surface of the sandwich maker.
3. Always pre-heat before use. While preparing ingredients, plug the cord into a power socket, and close the top housing of the sandwich maker.
4. The red light will illuminate indicating the appliance is ON, the green light will illuminate to indicate that the appliance has pre-heated, and it is ready for use.
